Hey everybody.
I'm having a garage sale at my wife's parents' house tomorrow to try and sell some of the things we don't plan on taking to Korea. Since I live in the middle of nowhere I don't expect anyone to come, but I thought I'd put up a list of stuff people might be interested in that'll be getting sold super cheap. Starting around 10am CST.
Xbox 360 + games games: SSF4, Dance Dance Revolution, Crackdown, Halo 3 ODST, Halo 3 Reach, Borderlands, Rockband 2. (guitar and mic. drumset is fubar)
SNES + games games: Mario Kart, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Donkey Kong Country 2 + 3, Kirby's Dreamland 3 I also have Chrono Trigger, but the price would have to be -really- good to get me to part with it.
NES + games games: Blaster Master, Megaman 3, Legend of Zelda, Castlevania 2, TMNT, Ghosts and Goblins, Rad Racer, Tetris
Dreamcasts + games games: Test Drive 6, NFL 2K1, Soul Caliber, Maken X, Sega Smashpack Vol 1, Jet Grind Radio, Quake 3 arena, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Mortal Kombat Gold, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Shenmu, Capcom vs SNK
original Xbox + games: ESPN NFL 2K5, Guilty Gear X2, Crimson Skies, DDR Ultramix, Burnout 3, Halo
Lots of nerd DVDs including 4 or 5 MTS3K box sets.
Tons of clothes: Guys and girls. (Want to buy a T-shirt I wore during a GSL cast? Who wouldn't?!) *note: The girl clothes aren't mine.
Probably some more other random stuff as well. I'll have time to talk a little SC2 as well most likely.
The address is:
This is the strangest blog post I've ever made...

That is awesome. Wish I was in the area as I would totally pick up the MST3K sets, if they are ones that I do not already have. Good luck on the sale and in Korea.
|
Ummmmmm why aren't you bringing all of those things to Korea?!
Note: The girl clothes are actually DoA's.

As for the clothes...that was what I thought also. =)

posting your address on a video game forum frequented by thousands of people isn't usually a great idea
also, i'd be cool with it if you mailed me the dreamcast+games...

Well...maybe he just was stating his wish to live in Montana and had nothing to do with this...maybe? Oh well, honest mistake.

^^
@Doa, you should really list exactly what you have, or take pics, and post here and have a semi-auction type thing. You'd get more money if you let video game lovers bid for them, than random people and the rare TL guy.
I'd perhaps be interested in the NES depending on the games and condition of the system. Paypal + mail makes for a great sale.

Wolf! I thought our Skype conversations were secret!
Oh and anything that doesn't sell tomorrow I'll do some sort of auction with. Think someone would want a copy of Mario Kart for SNES signed by me?
|
Too bad I'm not still in MN. Otherwise I would stop by and say hi!
|
what games do you have for the snes? my roommate is in belle plaine right now visiting family, maybe i can get her to come down and pick some up if she's bored/thinks it's not weird

Note: The girl clothes are actually DoA's. DoA's gonna be the first pantsless caster of the GSL (well, I hope the first). Therefore he's not bringing his clothing because he doesn't need it.

Why he posted his parent's address.
And I guess we can take this as Doa is one of the official Code A casters now.

Yes, I'm actually selling all the clothes I own. I'll just borrow some of John's when I get there. We're about the same height.
I'm updating the original post with the game titles.

I just wanted to say your Super Nintendo/Nintendo lineup is sick ^^ I actually only live a couple of hours away...we'll see.
|
I'll buy some of the stuff if you will ship to New York. I can pay via Paypal. PM me if interested.

Just a few hundred miles away ....

I had an N64, but it didn't survive.

GL in your garage sale, I don't want my favorite code a caster on the streets of Seoul with a cardboard sign saying "Will cast SC2 for food"
|
Seeing as how I still have a SNES and Nintendo in my house that work (somewhere) I could see myself buy some things if I wasn't poor ATM

I'm updating the original post with the game titles. So does this mean that John also has girl clothes? And if so, would you wear them?

I'm updating the original post with the game titles. I'm holding you to this now.
I wish I lived near enough, I don't have many opportunities to rummage through a true nerd heist.

The garage sale went pretty well. Sold a good amount of stuff that I'll no longer need to worry about storing somewhere! Dead tired in every regard. Sleep now, casting tomorrow. Korea later this week.

DoA wearing only Yugioh shirts inc!
Also If you cant sell the NES or some SNES games if you are willing to sell them online I may be interested.
Have fun In Korea man! I missed you!

If you have the MST3k with 'Manos: Hands of Fate' on it- I will buy it from you if you could ship it to TX...
edit: rather unfortunate you can't take your SNES/Chrono Trigger... It's kinda like how I have my original (non-greatest hits edition) of Final Fantasy Tactics- but my PS2 is non-functioning =0\
