http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1514487&postcount=106 Ironically I first realized this after reading UltraSurf's wikipedia article which only became available after using UltraSurf. @XiaN Last I checked tor was not working any longer. @Nactive I was going to do that buy my router is a nerfed version of a WRT54G that doesn't have enough flash memory to do so. Using Freegate for now but I'm going to be more cautious. | ||

I think that's bs, and the guy loses all credibility with his example of a someone sensitive position using ultrasurf. As if someone with sensitive data couldn't afford a 10$/month secured VPN... Depending on how long you stay in China, you could get a better VPN. I'm using freegate if I just wanna check facebook, for other stuffs I use BananaVPN (my company purchased it, but it's cheap anyway) What makes me really pissed is my 1000ms ping on iccup :'( | ||

I told you Freegate was good  pro tip : activate automatic updates, so when the current version becomes blocked you get the update to the latest version that works. Current version is 7.13. 7.12 is very slow. | ||
