how is fl compared to reason 5? ive been trying to learn it but theres just so much to learn lol. I heard FL has shitty samples and cant do what other programs can... edit : Also why isnt there a house thread? there a dubstep, a hard style etc but no house thread? unless my tl search skills are terrible and im missing something | ||

FL has some pretty aweful plugs though and good standalone vst's are almost always better. There are also a ton of good free sample packs online that are better quality than the ones that come with FL. :p Also check out the edm thread, it's for all edm genres but it's mostly house.. | ||

I'd suggest you look up some simple tutorials on youtube, there are massive amounts for every program. i.e. etc The best thing about reason imo is that it has some very high quality samples, and the synths that come with the program are actually very very good so you won't have to get external plugins anytime. | ||
