Imo desrow's getting a little more heat than he should, it seems like people are just transferring the maybe justifiable anger from his previous blog to this one as if it was a repeat, when in more likely it seemed like Desrow tried to make this blog to "make up" for the "cheese" blog with a semi-legitimate one, but it backfired on him. xD

For some reason I think this is the other EGIdrA thats been apparantly douching it up on US Ladder. I know he loves to drone hard, but he knew you were putting on some pressure, and makes 4 lings only? Not even a crawler? IdrA has better decision making then that.

I rather enjoy these blogs. It's just really amusing to hear your excitement when you got the rage quit. Seems to me that all the attention you give to it is actually a huge sign of respect for Idra. Your enthusiasm is infectious, and we all get to share a little bit of the triumph of touching the Idra BM that is so famous and endearing.

I think people are being a little too hard on the OP. I know that if I beat Idra (even with cheese) I'd want to celebrate. He's like the final boss of the NA server.

I'm puzzled at Sheth's reaction to this thread. Its not like the OP is claiming to be better than Idra. And even if he did, anyone with half a brain would know that 9 times out 10 Idra would crush this guy. Of course it only takes one win to make a vod.

I'm just not a fan of the idea of "forum veterans" getting special treatment.

i really don't understand what all this hate is about. have u guys even READ desrows blogpost? its not that he said "haha, IdrA so bad, i've beaten him twice in a row now!" and was celebrating this.

i think he _really_ wants to beat idra in a fair macro game since he cheesed him in the first one and regrets this. he tried this time, and idra left. which is sad if u want to "catch a legendary pokemon" - and kinda funny.

some ppl just seem to see desrows name and think "ok, lets give this guy some big bunch of hate and tell him he's bad, fat and retarded n stuff, no matter what his posting is about". this is pathetic.

Am I the only one to think that if this was the real Idra, he didn't play seriously and just tried to drone as much as possible, making one more round of workers? The situation didn't seem like an instawin for the Toss, but it didn't look good, thus the ragequit since he stated that he doesn't care about the ladder.

I watch Des's stream a lot and he rarely flames people and has lots of respect for the programmers. I have never heard him say I'm better then XXXX programmer. He has never claimed to be better then Idra. The one thing I know is people give him a lot of crap and tell him he is bad etc..

This post looks more to me like a post to show everyone look. I have a good MMR I get ranked against top players. I'm getting better and I plan to keep at it.

Keep up the good work Des and I hope you get your chance to play a real game against Idra.

@Sheth I'm sure Idra can defend his own honor. He is the EG Bad boy he can handle himself. . Idra knows he is a good player. He is considered a contender in every tournament.
