I'm not entirely convinced "venting" is the word I want considering I am not angry in the slightest. What I am, however, is confused as shit! I came out of a game of sc2 with the following message waiting for me from a fellow called Masochist.
"one day the marauder will actually be balanced. then blizz will realize, gateway units need to be nerfed. and you'll be down in plat"
Firstly, I dont know what that means. But that's not even my concern. The problem is that I've never played this guy in my life. I did a quick check through his match history and then confirmed with sc2gears so I'm quite certain. I'm seriously at a loss here.
What does his sentence mean? Are marauders imbalanced or are gateway units imbalanced? Why did he pick me? How did he even add me without us having played? And most importantly, who the hell is this clown?!
Masochist, if you read this, up yours. :D

He's just saying he plays zerg ? Or something like that. Perhaps you were in a chatroom and he c/pasted that to everyone :D Perhaps he thinks it's a very philosophic statement toi make.

My friend Waterwings once said the best thing about the current balance situation:
Zerg doesn't win games, Terran and Protoss just lose games to Zerg.
That pretty much sums it up. Gateway units IMO are also very balanced because they lose hard without support or proper upgrades, so I don't know what that guy was talking about. The Marauder is pretty good against everything (except air lol), but it's more that the Terran Tech Tree is so easy to advance through and counter pretty much every other unit in the game while the Zerg tech tree is probably the hardest.
As far as how that guy found you he might have gotten your name from a chat channel or someone else's match history? I don't know but I find complaining after a game just invites rage. I usually only ever msg people after games if they tried to cheese me or do something sneaky and I won anyways.

Or at least he got to masters or diamond with it (if it is diamond, there was no masters that time).

Ooh, youre pretty smart! Yeah I was like mid-diamond zerg before there was a masters. But I've been protoss for a little while now since I was stuck on a <5 fps computer for a while and figured protoss was the best race for coping with that. Still only diamond though.  But ladder gives me masters people often enough so I should be close!
Anyway, I've got a new leading theory. I think he might be a friend of someone I played. If I play a game and feel the person is fairly likely to message me and bm after the game, I just block them right away. So maybe someone wanted to bitch at me but got ignored and had to send their friend after me! I support this theory with the following pieces of evidence:
1) The guy who messaged me played his last game a week ago. So it looks like he came on sc2 only to message me and then left immediately.
2) I think it would help explain why not even he seems to know wtf he's talking about; and
3) Would explain why he called his own race imbalanced.

It sounds more like a guy who has 2 accounts. Perhaps you beat one of his accounts, so he signed in on his other account to BM (or was that even bm? I don't really know...).
Either that, or he is some brilliant, hardcore troll who messages random people on bnet all day.

Yeah I thought of the 2 account idea. My only qualms with that one is that his profile said he was a protoss player and therefore shouldnt be whining imba at me. And no, I wouldnt really call that bm, just messed up and confusing. 
Also thought of the troll idea. Unfortunately given the nature of the internet, it seems pretty damn possible.

Edit: Okay you got me to take a second look at the second account theory and its looking more promising. One of the primary purposes for a second account would be to offrace (which would mean he's not a true protoss and therefore invalidating my original reason for crossing off this idea). I checked his last season and there were no games played. So yeah, that looks pretty promising.
