I just ran into this site with an awesome concept - play a simple game for a chance (not random) to win prizes such as ipads, movie tickets, starbucks cards, etc.
How the game works:
- sign up (through facebook)
- when enough people join to play, a timer will appear and start to countdown.
- when the timer hits zero, you click the button.
- the fastest person to hit it wins the prize.
- from what i can see, 1st prize gets a HUGE item (ipad, laptop, etc), and 50 runner ups win giftcards, movie tickets, etc
The best part of this is there is absolutely no catch to this. All you do is sign up, and click it when it hits zero. The only random element to the game is when the countdown-timer actually appears - it appears when a certain quota of people joined is met.
Currently at around 10% people joined, so lets gogogo!
