with some girls if u just wait around they forget you and/or think u don't like them cuz u didn't text BUT: 1. it's all random and based off variables u can not know 2. calling a girl with a purpose and a plan is usually better than gay texting and most importantly: 3. if you made a good first impression on her (and no, her giving you her number does not mean you accomplished this) then it does not fucken matter if you text her first or wait for her to text you | ||

For instance, most girls I dealt with up till now could be characterized by using their text response time/initiation and content to establish their interest level. One I'm currently interested in however, completely bucks that trend. She rarely uses her phone, and can go a very long time without looking at it, whether willing or able. She also has a busy work / hobby schedule, which leaves less time for correspondence. Coming from my experiences, I initially felt her lack of initiation and long pauses might indicate disinterest and/or apathy. However, I wasn't discouraged (because there are always other possibilities) and went out with her a few times. Being with her, and talking openly with her about random things helped me see her personal perspective, and I don't have to guess about what it all means. If you want to avoid the guessing game, try to get together with her. This will give you an opportunity to either ask her outright about her habits, or subtly work towards talking about things of that nature, and you can also observe how she treats her phone and other conversations with her friends. Perhaps she is just someone who views it as most people, where if people are interested in talking, they will send a message. Obviously, if you both view it the same way, you'll never message each other, regardless of interest. Everyone always wants to test the other person. You can't be hung up or expectant of them in that regard. If you're interested in talking, send a message; if they reply, great. If they don't, don't assume the worst. | ||
