hi, my name is jimmy and I looove WoW. you can only play a game like this for so many years though;; and I'm having trouble finding reasonably exciting games. it's hard to get excited about a game after playing FF3 and SMW one day and dropping into warcraft the next.
that said, anyone know some nifty games they would recommend? I'm not so big into multiplayer, but I don't like bioware style RPGs. I guess my ideal single player experience would be something like the SNES final fantasies, earthbound, or the mario rpgs. dudes, anything to pass the summer with. much obliged.

Isn't there a bridge you should be looking after?

You should try Oblivion and the Mass Effect series. Speaking of Mario, the Super Galaxy series is good also.

My mistake...

Maybe you should take up a new hobby instead of video games? WoW is as much, if not more, about the socialization aspect as it is about a Role-playing adventure. That's why all other games are boring after playing WoW for years. Sorry to break it to you, but once WoW grows old every game will make you feel "meh" (except SC2, of course!). It gets better after a while though.
If you quit wow you will have time for several hobbies. Like you could hit the gym and learn to play guitar and read some classic sci-fi novels (just examples, could be anything) and still have time to do other things. I'm not telling you you should quit WoW since you love it so much, but it's worth considering. I know my life improved drastically once I untethered myself from Azeroth.

Personally Broodwar, broket he RTS genre for me because none of them are even remotely as good as it.
It did this for several of my friends too

I was going to suggest Final Fantasy XIII but it's a lot like a Bioware RPG except with less control and content. Still like the game though. Battling is pretty fun and the visuals are wicked awesome.

+1 for breath of fire. Also video games are dead, play older gems you haven't played or find a new hobby tbh. Oh and check out tasvideos.org, hours of entertainment.
