Trance/music Mega Mix (r) and other music mixes

FFGenerations 7088 Posts June 06 2011 01:50 GMT #1 I only really know two trance mega mixes These are Initial D Nonstop Mega Mix (eurodance/parapara, album) and this youtube clip that has been floating around for years (title incorrect): That youtube mix is absolutely fantastic, it makes me wonder after all these years if people out there have made other similar mixes that they've maybe saved in their favourites and would like to share :x I have a peek at various music threads once in a while, but they're so big and I have so little time to just listen to random music. I tried some dubstep after that big thread but most was crap. I found a couple of good j-core/lolicore randomly, and there's the whole k-pop and j-pop threads I have yet to wade through. But this is why "mega mix" videos or albums are so good for me People compiling their favourite songs so I don't have to do the work!! As a response to my previous blog post, which asked whether anyone could help me identify a particular epic (EPIC) Christmas song, here it is I asked random co-workers who asked family members until the answer was found. Yay. Enjoy this

DJDoyboy and Johan Nilsson used to have downloads on their sites for their trance mixes which were really good, I don't know if either of them still do but there were two of my favorite trance DJs. DJ River also offers his stuff up for download on his site as well; he does more chillout and house style mixes but they are very good. Could also check out Di.fm as well which has got IMO the best EDM internet radio stations.

(not doyboy =] ) This guy was incredible and made almost 100 hour-or-longer mixes (mostly about 80 minutes). For free. For anyone to download. Sadly, and unfathomably, he abruptly decided to stop maybe 4-5 years ago. All of his mixes ever are archived on the site http://www.dragonminded.com/music/djdoboy/ I recommend Trancequility #4 to get your first taste of him. My personal tastes leave me to favor Elements Hydrogen, the Sonic House Series, Vocal Edition #3, and Trancequility #23. But I have (almost) all of them and enjoy all of the ones I have. The Trancequility Special Summer Editions definitely have the megamix feel of the videos you posted so you may be partial to those. I find it incredibly cool that I can name 4/6 of the songs in the first mix off the top of my head: DJ Liquid - Final Fantasy ??? Laut Sprecher - Omnibus (not sandstorm mr. toast -- though they do sound similar) ??? Barthezz - On The Move Cosmic Gate - Exploration Of Space Nice little trip down memory lane. Got a Doboy playing now.

FFGenerations 7088 Posts June 06 2011 03:40 GMT #8 thanks guys, your suggestions are a little more complicated than i had aimed for but solid all the same. my problem is i fill my spare time with specific episodes of anime or stuff like dragons den or the apprentice atm - i have never ever given myself specific time to listen to music. but now i have some of these links i can play them or at least click them when i have downtime
