First of all, I've wanted to become a doctor all my life, but unfortunately it seems that I won't get accepted for the state supported program at neither meds school (I would only need a few points though

So what do I have at the moment? High school diploma, A1 ("expert") certification in English and B2 ("intermediate" I guess) certification in Spanish.
I don't want to stay at home for a year, and I was thinking...maybe I could work in the US. Why the US, you ask? I happen to have my girlfriend living there

This way, I could be with her for a year and I could get some work experience abroad; but my problem is that I know nothing about the chances and means of getting a job there (in Missouri) as a foreigner, and none of my friends are expert in it either.
So I'm turning to you guys (cuz I know that TL is all powerful) to help me cook up something and to give me some information about the "how"s; how can a foreigner with a high school diploma get a job in the US? All help appreciated
