Couldn't fall asleep at all so I made a song instead.. Last time I posted something everyone seemed to agree it didn't have a very unique sound so I guess that's what I was going for. It's pretty progressive and I guess ambient. Let me know what you think. ^^

It's really nice, the polish on your tracks that are a "work in progress" is insane. Keep it up.

ps ambient/progressive is win

Fellow night-dweller here, I like it! What do you use to create your tracks?

This is a big step up from your earlier work and your nailing a really good sound here. How would you feel about possibly smacking on just a little bit more energy in the build ups and the drops that follow?

I'm not an electronic music fan but I am impressed you managed to put this together. It's pretty good.

my standard way of doing it is usually to cut a low cut filter sweep as the build-up ends and then releasing the beat with a pumping sidechained white noise

I use FL studio and a very bad laptop. For soft synths I mainly use sylenth1 and refx vanguard, and for samples I use sample magic and vengeance house vol 2. That's about it I think.

Posting here so I remember to listen when I get home from work. (Seriously, all the good nsfw blogs or blogs that require sound seem to happen when I'm at work.)

Will post thoughts later.

Well to be honest, a 4/4 beat is getting pretty old aswell but no one complains, do they. Hating is not what the music is about. Just accept that some people do it some way and others do it another way. We could have _such_ a nice discussion, and probably a good exchange of ideas, if you weren't in such a bad mood all the time. Im actually pretty curious why it is so?

edit; sorry for OT Patrik

OK finally listened, I liked it a lot. Very chill.

Felt a lot like Strobe by deadmau5 (my favorite of his), but not in a ripoffy way, just had the same feel to it.

yay!
