Heh, I hopped over to the NA server to play a bit and a phenomenal amount of my games at Master are proxy raxes/proxy gates/various one base allins. It's certainly educational, since SEA has spoiled me a little :<

if you're going to make a blog post and put it out in the public you don't get to dictate how people respond to your thoughts. If you don't want criticism on your thoughts, attitude, and writing, don't put a blog post up.

Reminds me of playing PvZ back in brood war. From my friends to iccup, with protoss I faced all manner of cheese and all-ins. Yeah, I lost tons of times and even raged a bit to myself, but I just played the same style over and over until I learned to deflect cheese. It's so hard to scout because of speedlings, but you have to just go the extra mile and always be vigilant

If want to be a master of macro you must persevere. Yes, it's easy to cheese and win. If you lose to cheese it's your own fault. Don't complain about it. Just face it down. Watch the pros and study the details of their builds (at least, this worked in brood war), because they are meant to prepare you for anything. There's a reason that cheese isn't the standard, and that's because it should be possible to defend it more often then not if you are an experienced player. Good luck.

At the point of writing this.. I was. Maybe thats why i wrote that it was a venting thread... to vent frustrations. (that means I was angry and writing about it helps me be less angry)
