Why aren't there random colors in SC2?

And why hasn't Blizzard already allowed us to enable random colors for games? I liked it better when I didn't know what colors Stork and Hwasin would get in the upcoming match.

I don't think I'm alone on this one.

Also, why haven't I already seen anyone else make this talking point and have the idea pick up steam?

Just thinking out loud.

Because it really doesn't matter, at all.
It also pales in comparison to other problems; such as: no lan, no cross region, and no group replay watching.

I will definitely agree with this.

It's not like we really would benefit from random colors... .__.

Don't worry, husky agrees with you. I think it's supposed to be a fairness thing, meaning it's easy to tell the difference between red and blue units compared to blue and teal or some other colour combo. That's the only reason I can come up with. I've wondered, but it's not a big deal for me.

Yes agreed, releasing random colors will be an insult to the players at this point. Maybe after everything else is implemented.
