Cosmic do you like Mac Lethal? He's a Kansas guy. Also, I am a mid twenties white guy and YES I do feel like I am apart of Hip Hop culture. It is not just a inner cities social economic thing, its more of a state of mind. Its listening, relating, creating. I've sat around with a bunch of friends and free styled shitty lyrics over someone elses beats and it was a friggin blast. I've been to literally over a hundred shows, supporting my favorite emcees from down the block and those from Brooklyn and Queens. Run and tell all your friends, an ancient civilization has been born again....Its a fact!

Um, alright. Let me introduce you to some more. I have listened to rap since I was a kid since my sisters were really going on on the genre (and I didn't understand any word of English - I am from an Arabic-African country). I'll put a song of each artist I have in my Winamp (read: music collection) and it's up to you to push further into your research. Beware: some language used (didn't you expect it heh) Gang Starr (DJ Premier on the plates, Guru on the mic - RIP Guru ) Del The Funky Homosapien (you can look up Hieroglyphics as well) Immortal Technique Pete Rock & CL Smooth A Tribe Called Quest (I could put all songs from "The Low End Theory" album here, but let's put something else) Nujabes (RIP ) Eric B & Rakim MF Grimm The Roots Group Home And many others. List is way too long >.> Just for the heck of it, let me throw names: DJ Krush, Black Sheep, LL Cool J (back when he was rocking bells), Jay-Z, EPMD, Onyx, Jeru Da Damaja, Last Emperor, DJ Jazzy Jeff (not necessarily w/ The Fresh Prince :p), Little Brother (and 9th Wonder), etc @.@ Oshi-, almost forgot Big Daddy Kane (do note that he is asthmatic) Not-so-hiphopish but let's go! Disposable Heroes of Hiphopcrisy (back when Michael Franti experimented with the genre)
