So like, all the time I hear ppl complaining about how imbalanced certain match ups are and ofc, its true because everything is imbalanced :D. But on a more serious note, you know I get the same feelings too some times when I lose games, but I wont progress if I blame it on imbalance, so I'm just going to put in this post things that have come up in games.
Back in the day
So like my friend/biggest rival always used to crush me with terran using his god damn bunker rush and there I am sitting in the game, I see the bunker comming up but its already too late because I didn't scout it fast enough. So I don't instantly GG and I take the slow painful death as he completely destroys everything I have. If the marines and bunkers weren't enough, well here come the tanks >_> and wtf is up with that range!?! My expansion goes down and I say to myself god damn ZvT is so hard, T so rigged.
Now
So just the other day, someone tries to bunker rush me. I pulled drones off the line and killed the SCV, I trapped the marines just before my Zerglings spawned, fuck the drones, I'll just pump a few extra lings. 3 hatcheries pumping lings rushing to my opponent's base and I'm like wow wtf bunker rush is such a fail strategy if scouted too early. >_> But what if he didn't hide it?
Another bunker rush, omfg how the fuck did I not scout this one? Well I put down a hidden expansion with my scouting drone and so I'm running off of three bases and he's all in with the contain. I got some defilers and some ultralisk and I'm just like wow these tanks are really not buff at all.
Every few games
I allow the terran to build up and now come the tanks and I think to my self holy shit tanks are so imbalanced(but I do know that this is more to my macro mistakes than to unit imbalance since if I had 2k worth of lings, those tanks would not stand a chance.

i really like that you acknowledge the fact that just because it frustrated you that it doesn't mean it is imbalanced. But just keep trying and eventually he will bunker rush you, you will hold it and go into a macro game and outplay him and you will feel good, you really just need to play around a bit with late game control versus tanks since they do a fair bit of splash and consider your unit combination. Also if you feel your army dosen't have a chance versus his just go for a counter attack and hope he pulls back to defend assuming he isn't in your natural. But Gl man i really hope you just own him and go hahaha. =D Best of luck

yeah, i started out with Teran, then i switched to teran, and i got bashed to shits when i played PvT.
Then i played Teran. PvT T.T i lost like 50% of my TvP games =(
TvZ is still fun for me due to the fact that helions kill lings and thors just kill mutas and marines mop everything up, and you can just drop mules all game long and not make SCVs ^.^

Really? i thought TvZ was imba for T, so i played TvZ and realized T was more imba then i thought As a result now i play ZvT/ZvP/TvZ.
