Bronze player struggling to break tanks in siege

Coreyz United States8 Posts April 11 2011 01:02 GMT #1 So I was playing a game earlier today and I went MMM and he went tanks and thors. He didnt move out all game, and I tried to drop in his base but he had about 20 turrets and he had turrets surrounding his tanks as well. We were both 200/200 and I was getting impatient. I scanned him and dropped a mule on him as a joke. Then his siege tanks started to fire on them and the aoe damage killed about 4 of them after I dropped about 10 mules on him. Has anyone else heard of doing this on a terran that is just turtling the whole game and what else could I have done to combat around 20 siege tanks? P.S. I ended winning when I attacked his expansion and he brought all of his army to stop and and I sandwiched him and won.

dartoo India2889 Posts April 11 2011 01:31 GMT #6 Transition to bcs! The new cool thing..yamato the turrents and tanks. and additionally you marauder bomb the tanks or drop mules if you that much money! It isnt really a new tactic, check out zealot bombing from brood war.
