Tarson adds a starport, expos and we finally see the first addon. Techlab on the fact, I'm assuming to get banshees when starport is done. But no, medivac coming out of the starport with the techlab and he moves the fact down to choke off his natural some. Still a lot of marines coming out, he drops with 1 medivac and finds lair is up and the natural. Wellan has banes out and mutas are about to pop I believe. Tarson pulls back with a few hurt marines left. He regroups his marines and drops with 16 marines and 3 medivacs. Banelings going after the marine, he's splitting them well but he's on creep and still loses a lot. Mutas clean up. Tarson goes for a 3rd and adds 2 more rax finally. He takes the techlab with his factory instead and moves his 3rd CC to the psuedo island. He's letting Z macro up a lot.. Finally scans the gold, but that's not taken. Mutas go after his psuedo island but the rocks go down just in time and marines stream in. Mutas flank to go for his natural instead forcing a second stim but they are forced out. Tarson scouts the 12 and finds creep at the 12 natural before getting killed. I'm assuming Z is on 4 base now. Haha, I know THAT word, Tarson is cursing in Polish and sends his marine/medivac army out going straight for the 9'o clock natural. Wellan expanded too greedily and doesn't have enough army out to defend as Tarson destroys his army. A second wave of lings comes out, but Tarson takes next to no losses and forces a GG. | ||

Top 2 players in each group go through so they're both extremely likely to advance. My maxlan-neighbor Shinigami just 2-0'd his ZvZ opponent ShAyErS in a 10 minute game on scrap and a 17 minute game on metal close air. He slammed his fist on the table so hard I thought he was pissed. I looked at his screen and saw his opponent GG. Maybe I need to get one of the female cs team members to give him a massage or something to unwind. Sarens is manhandling BiGuP from what it looks like. Adel vs LLLDaBoo is about to start on stage. | ||

Someone please let me know if they're streaming Adel vs LLLDaBoo somewhere so I can just go watch. Otherwise I can see the back of the stage screen from here, it's just behind me and I'll just live report it.. If I however get left/right confused forgive me ;p I have a pretty great view, it's just.. mirrored. There's going to be some delay before the main stage is ready. | ||

Shinigami takes his time and prepares more banelings. He's going to carpet bomb the natural of BuN! The mutas go in first followed by a fleet of overlords filled with banes and roaches BOOM massive damage. BuN GGs and it looks like Shinigami is heading towards a second place in his group. It's a 5 player group though I was just informed, so he has one more opponent to face aside from SarenS. | ||

Also, more epic tales of the death god ;p Shinigami vs BiGs on scrap is turning into baneling wars. Both 1 base, but Shinigami is splitting his zerglings extremely well. He gets a bane into the mineral line but the drones aren't there, he finds the drones behind the mineral line and they take a single hit. Shinigami's attack is over and again he needs to defend as BiGs now sends in banes. Shinigami again showing textbook defense and splits his zerglings so well the banes are a loss mostly. Shinigami counters and runs his lings into the mineral line. BiGs defends well in the mineral line with a roughly equal amount of lings popping out and zerglings. Shinigami is transitioning to roaches while BiGs expands. Both player get lair and shinigami expands as well, later than BiGs. BiGs has the advantage because of his earlier expo and got a lot of roaches out. Contaminate on Shinigamis natural as BiGs roaches push down BiGs's side of the rocks. Shinigami scouts a hydra den at BiGs natural and proceeds to ensure his overlords are save. He keeps his scouting overseer alive with only 10 health by flying it over the rocks at the natural of BiGs, but 10 seconds later, hydras show up to finish the joob. Again contaminate on the natural hatch of shinigami though he doesn't have the eco to support it anyway. Shinigami tries to run roaches through the middle then has to chase around the hydras of BiGs which are using his roaches as a shield. Heavy losses taken but Shinigami does run a lot of army out while massing roaches more. He gets a really good engagement as BiGs is trying to get his third, but roaches pop out just in time to defend and Shinigami is forced to GG against biGs in game 1 Shinigami is spamming so hard he's making the whole row of tables shake. Really need to ask those CS girls to help him out later. They spawned on Xel for game 2, Shinigami getting the bottom left. Gas first opening by Shinigami. Quick speedling build. He's sending a few out than blocking the ramp with the others. Getting a baneling nest and scouts his opponent trying the same thing. biGs suicides a lot of lings at Shinigamis ramp but does not get in. 5 banes out now for Shinigami. He trades them at BiGs ramp who got a second queen and a spinecrawler to defend. Shinigami isn't letting up though. He tries to run lings up the ramp but nooooo 5 banelings destroy his 12ish lings. Shinigami now on the back foot, banes just outside his base, 3 come in and he trades his banes for them. 5 more come in, taking out Shinigamis lings and now going for the mineral line. Shinigami loses half his drones and GGs out. Shinigami now needs to beat Sarens 2-0 to have a chance to advance. | ||

+1 range for Shinigami being upgraded but oh no helion drop in Shinigamis main and he needs to block with drones long enough for his helions to come in. They kill of a lot of drones before the roaches force them to be lifted off. Again the helions drop but this time Shinigami chases them out the front without taking much damage and he takes his third. He's trying to stabilize, getting a spire to get mapcontrol and shut down dropplay. Shinigami now stable on 3 base but the attack from SarenS will have to come soon. 6 tanks supported by bio healed by medivacs roll up on his third. Sieging at the bottom of Shinigamis ramp. Shinigami tries to run his banes in but no, the bio is pulled back and the tanks are now sieged. As he loses his army and Shinigami moves in, the death god has been slain. qq | ||

Same style he lost a map to in groups. Warpprism drops on scrap may be Naama's kryptonite. | ||
