Escher is my favorite artist and July was easily my favorite BW player, so please excuse any outbursts while I try to contain my sheer joy at your combination of the two.

As far as his art goes, "Eye" is my aesthetic favorite, but "Cycle" is his most poignant piece. A masterful combination of artistic skill and social commentary, it speaks to me of our individual yearnings for significance and uniqueness that get folded meekly into the pattern of culture. We try so hard to stand out, but we were nonetheless similar in our beginnings, and so similar in our endings.

For the record, Escher is not a painter, and does not create Paintings. He is a Printmaker and he creates prints. He is, in fact, one of the more prolific printmakers in all of history.

I had this banging red headed art teacher who would get all hot and bothered talking about MC Escher.. you could really see her squirm. Pretty gnarly actually! Love your Escher esque rendition at the end there. Nice work
