 I was you about 8 months ago. I saw all these people who were genuine friends with each other and were all exactly like long lost brothers and sisters. I wanted SOO badly to become part of that and one day I came to the conclusion that the only way people would ever know who I was would be if I started posting and interactig. And so I did; I started posting, I played some tournaments, I made extremely minor edits to liquipedia, I LR'd Samsung Khan games whenever I could, I visited irc from time to time, I started playing mafia (not gonna lie, most of my posts come from there and the fastest way to meet the chillest people on TL is to play mafia  ), and I just started posting without being afraid. Eventually you'll get to know people and people will get to know you and you'll find yourself to be part of the TL long lost family.Forums aren't that uncomfortable after a while and once you get to know people it'll get better. But you gotta put yourself out there to some extent in order to meet people and interact. You can't lurk your way to 10000 posts. Ugh I'm rambling but I guess what I want to say is go for it. Starting posting more as long as it's good stuff, go on irc, go play mafia, talk to someone in the TL channel in sc2 or iccup. If you wanna be comfortable with your long lost family you have to meet them first. Why I'm saying this and why I focused so much on me is because you sound exactly how I felt when I first joined TL, it took me about three months to get comfortable and I wish someone had said to me "go for it" at some point. Damn I didn't really address anything you said, well hope this helps. | ||
