Ok, basically I figured I'd post this here because I do so many SC2 parodies that I feel I would share one that isn't. This was basically a joke after a conversation with some people I work with about how rap has turned into nothing but a good beat with no attention paid to the words. I made a bet I could take a Dr. Seuss book and turn it into a song that sounded like what is on the radio.. The result.. well it's below.

If you like this please share it on facebook and comment on youtube. I appreciate the support I've been given for my sc2 songs and I will continue to do those soon. I have a big project I'm working on right now that encompasses a lot of information but it should be done in the next few weeks.

The OJ da Juiceman "HEYS" make this song work. In fact, you need more to make it better.
Also, making the chorus a little different from the verse might help a little.
Oh, but it was a pretty entertaining listen. Obviously, you have talent for these types of things.

I agree with you about a lot of rap these days. I only like a few songs rap songs, because I actually care about the content. I don't give a shit how good Eminem's beats are, because he still sucks. He's always talking about how hard and sad his life is, or how he's going to become a better person (and then never does). Good rap actually has to convey a message.

Also, I like your video. Very nice. I posted it as my status.

This thread is gonna derail hard about rap sucking, best MCs, Hip-Hop being true, underground being better, etc. Then people will try to counter argue all those things. that being said, there is a clear distinction between hip-hop and rap. Rap is what an every day joe hears and knows, kinda like non metal heads only know about linken park, korn, or whatever. There is obviously much more and better stuff that isn't mainstreamed for whatever reasons.

BoT, I think op beat and chorus could have used some work, but who really cares if it's just a parody of some dr suess crap. I think the point is proven.

Holy check, I literally died laughing. Usually I despise rap/hip hop, but this is just plain brilliant and extremely hilarious. I also find it funny how much this relates to my sig lol.
