well I think there is no one in this dumb town that likes starcraft or E-sprts which kinda sucks really bad makes me just want to give up and uninstall the game. So hard to want to play when no one wants to talk about starcraft and help you practice
If only everyone had Day nine or tastelss as a brother...

I understand your needs to have friends to play the game but having real life friends to discuss the game is not that great. Once you think he's kinda good then he'll just brag since he thinks he's a superior player and his opinion will always be better than yours.

I'm not saying this will happens to everyone but this is how I see it when it's between friends and gaming.

I seriously think that instead of people listening to day9 and just play the game to find out for themselves then they would improve faster. It's also my experience when I just started SC and a few month later that day9 starts to do his dailies, I thought I would get better by listening to him but it had an opposite effect on me(I got worst :/). I only mention about the dailies because I see you mention his name.

I suggest you find a team to join or just make some friends who can be your practice partners. I don't really need anybody close to me to play the game to be motivated.

I generally have a more productive session if I just ladder on my own. When my friends logon they generally bother me until I play with them, which is good now and then.

You should try chatting to the opponents you win/lose against, and build a friends list from the cool people from that. Many people I've messaged after a game with "Mind if a friend for practice sometime?" return with "Sure that'd be awesome"

I'm sure there's more out there like you.

bro not everyone can be the next MVP or TLO or FD. Just take every game one by one. Try improving something and always thing on what I can do to improve. One of my goals is to not miss larva injects and keep making drones and to expand at least every 7 minutes

That's generally the way it goes yeah. Not always but more often than not. Just ladder with some music on, chillout and just play play play!

Looks like you are lucky and actually have players in your area. I can search for the town in which i live and don't even get a single search result on this forum.

Just do what i currently try and get some colleagues or friends to play. Teach them the basics (but make it fun or they will quickly stop) and then you can play with/against them.
