Though most of my replays are named Pv(P/Z/T) (Win/Loss) (reason), I have quite a few downloaded replays so that this one easily got lost in the mix. Though I don't drink much, I must have been quite inebriated and played a game of SC2 before I went to bed.
Curiously, I opened the game on Shakuras Plateau and watch myself horrendously fail a probe split and open the game with a line that my opponent must have been delighted to hear:
Lobo: dude I'm really durnk
Yes, that's right. I managed to capitalize the 'I' and properly use an apostrophe but still manage to mistype 'drunk.'
But I didn't stop there. After my comrade gives a rousing 'good thing,' I don't shut up and add 'so it'll bprobably be an esay win.' If I was the opponent, I'd be really quite delighted to hear such a thing.
However, my opponent won't be fooled by such things. Saying the ever clever 'depends on how drunk you are,' I manage to fumble through 'jsut take my workd.' Somehow, I still manage to 14 gate, 15 gas, and 16 pylon with respectably good punctuality.
With my scouting probe, I see my opponent throw down 2 gateways in rapid succession around 24 food. My immediate thought, that I thought would be a good idea to say, was 'are you k4gating? meaine.' I realize this typo and immediately correct myself with the equally incorrect 'meaine.' Yes, the same exact typo. My opponent reassured me that he wasn't 4gating so I kept with my build and made a push with three gates and expo.
After some actual Stalker micro (I was surprised), I realize that there's no way I'll be able to take down his superior force. I then retreated my remaining four stalkers and 1 zealot. By retreated, I mean ran my units to the bottom of his ramp, forgot about them, and let them all die. But all was good, I had more units coming from my 3 warp gates and my expo was almost finished.
Taking a defensive stance, I had my units (4 Stalkers, 6 Zealots, and a Sentry) on the near side of the high grass. My opponent decided to do a push with 8 Stalkers and an Immortal after his first one finished. He made a small push and I retreated. Then I came back and FF'd his units with my sentry and took a commanding lead through the strength of my zealots.
Getting a little headstrong, I decided to push up his ramp but came close to losing all of my units, and potentially the game, due to his force fields being a little late. However, I had the lead on harvesters by quite a bit as my expo had been up for quite some time. I withdrew and just decided to compound my lead as the difference in income grew greater and greater.
Throwing down a Robo, I decided to push his front with a vastly superior force (about 40 food ahead at this point) but he just kept FFing his ramp to prevent my access. However, I was not to be had like this. Being infinitely clever, I went around the back of my base and started taking out the destructible rocks. With about 25 Stalkers, 2 Immortals, and a handful of Sentries and Zealots, I rolled his 8 Stalkers, 3 Immortals, 1 Collosus, and Zealots. With a quaint 'gg,' I left one of the best SC2 games I've ever played that I will never remember.
