Why?
I think it might be fun. Feet are usable appendages and completely unused in nearly all video games. I compare SC2 with a DDR pad to how drummers and pianists incorporate some footwork into their play. Maybe setting your Command Center/Nexus to one foot and make a worker to the other foot would be useful.
How?
Here is a little guide my brother and I whooped together for another game. Get a USB DDR pad. Get software to convert the DDR presses to keypresses. Setup the appropriate hotkeys in Starcraft. Step on buttons.
Questions?
How feasible is this for some simple commands? How much would I be laughed at for even suggesting using this at a tournament?
I'm not trying to be top of the masters or uncover some new secret method of increasing my APM by 5. I'm simply trying to incorporate some fun and uniqueness.
