So out of pure curiosity (and reading the penis thread), I want to get some opinions from the TLers. Two polls, anyone is welcome (hetero, bi, homo, protoss) to vote.
I just decided to shave em after being bombarded and pressured by society. I have never touched them, other then to clean them (shampoo lol), and now it is bare south after 20 years...I had quite a forest.
Being a noob and all it came out really shaggy :/. But hey at least it will get some sun and it does look kinda bigger now XD
Protip: don't use a cheap razor...

Uh yes and yes. Depends on context I guess. First yes is based pretty much purely on comfort. I think I look smaller without pubes. Maybe something about the way shadows are cast and white skin vs black hair.

Kinda of a known thing...for me at least. I remember reading an article about how sex was becoming a big thing and losing that image of a "sacred" act. With movies and shows constantly making sexual references. They also mentioned how middle and early high school kids would shave their pubes and now its "ok" to use flavored/scented lubes...

I don't shave I trim, and I prefer the girl to be trimmed or shaved. None of these were poll options. Disappointed.
PS- Little known fact, in japan or some asian cultures shaving pubes is a taboo. Which is why jap porns (even though its blurry) the chicks have bush monsters. It has something to do with the notion that only prostitutes would shave.

Yeah there needs to be a trim option. Shaving is gay (unless you're a pornstar), bush is nasty, trim is ideal.

Trim them at the very least, its not healthy either from a medical perspective due to sweat + grime + moise conditions, makes it ideal for bacterial growth. it wont typically lead to anything too crazy but its better to be clean.
Shaving, make sure you shave, downward lol, like along the direction of the hair. and never shave it super completely smooth or else, it's gonna be fucking itchy (speaking from experience).
but otherwise, who those of you who have insecurities issues and think its unmanly to shave, grow up. And, ask your girlfriend. Theres a good chance she doesn't like going down and coming back up with hair stuck in her teeth =\

Well this thread is not what I expected when I clicked on it. I mistook it for public, as well.
I agree with Virtue, though. Its hygienic to, at the very least, do some trimming. Not even for just the danger zone but for your underarms and whatnot as well. If you're gonna run around and sweat all day, you might have deoderant that covers the smell up, but there are still germs having their way under it. Shaving/trimming makes it easier to clean, and more sanitary in the end.
I also think it just looks better, but that's just me. I think someone being clean is my #1 priority.

Imho men should trim. It's fine if you want to shave, but be prepared to do it *often*. There's nothing more uncomfortable than crotch hair stubble.

but after the 2 weeks, if you shave it regularily, you wont feel anything and it'll be cleaner than trimming

I just also noticed how clean my body looks when I shaved the crotch...however...my whole body is covered with a very short indiscernible body hair...but it is so noticeable to the shaven skin...should I shave the whole body to make it look even??
and fack...that seems like constant shaving...and there are some...tricky parts to my crotch I can't seem to shave with the cheap razor :/
