Study a lot. Use flash cards to memorise vocabulary. Don't sleep much, use the 10 hours to study. Just take a 20 minute nap or 2 and have a caffeine drink or energy drink just before entering the exam. Then afterwards come home and sleep for 12 hours Problem solved.

Wouldn't worry too much, just get some good sleep. Grabbing a book and memorizing words is not going to help you one bit at this point, having a rested brain will though.

The Economist wrote: MOST political leaders struggle to speak fluently in a foreign tongue. Only the exceptional manage to mangle their own. Step forward France’s president, Nicolas Sarkozy... However, you need to learn some study habits. Edit: Quoting

Easy. I've never studied in my life (Whenever i do i get like very bad grades) and i always get good grades, Other than maths. But i suppose you cant be good at everything. I consider The internet a big part of my study, It teaches all in one. Maths, English, sometimes even dutch. All else is done by paying attention to the explainations. Good thing its Saturday eh. You still have plenty of time.

I'm not good with self accountability, but one of my smart friends says that a good way of being focused is to study with music.

I personally cannot focus on studying when listening to music. I start focusing on my music rather than my studying.

You still have plenty of time. Have you ever taken a French exam? Sure, with a test of vocabulary you can write down the words you needed to learn. An exam isn't a long list of word translations though, it's a test of comprehension. You get a dictionary so there's isn't a need to hide notes. Rather your skill in interpreting questions, finding answers, reasoning and established vocubulary are put to the test. When you're asked to read three pages of French text and answer questions about it, you aren't going to have the time to look up every word. You'll have to combine the established knowledge you've acquired over the years with looking up key words in your dictionary to properly answer the questions. Which is why I suggested a good night sleep would be better than a night learning random french words. Good reasoning and fast dictionary usage are much more valuable and those are greatly dependant on being well rested. This is just my experience with exams though, it could be possible other countries ask you to just translate some words, but I doubt it. Since exams are the same across the country they're mostly multiple choice as to ease the correction of the exams and to make it more "fair".

Je Tu Il/Elle Nous Vous Ils/Elles is all you need to know. Everything else is just gravy. It's silly, but if you think of French that way its easier. Or I've found it anyway after struggling with french for 12 years. Picture your Present/PC/IMP/Future as a basic cake, then everything else is frosting. Besides, you can get 90% of french correct with just those 4 verb tenses. On January 29 2011 07:29 BuuGhost wrote: just paper note between your legs. With the answers on it. Easy.
