lol, relax man we all got our off days. I quit for a few days after I had a similarly bad losing streak. Step back for a bit, watch some replays, maybe play some customs to boost your confidence, but most importantly review your replays, as painful as it is, and harshly criticize your play.

It might be an MMR issue. After Blizzard patches it up, if you still go on losing streaks like that, then you suck. If not, then you just got bad luck with Blizzard's terrible algorithms.

Get some consistent practice partners of varying skill. Play some customs with them until you feel really confident with your mechanics and builds. You'll feel better going back to the ladder after that, and just make sure to take a break if you get on another frustrating losing streak.

Nah, I checked my opponent's profiles- it's just that I suck. One of those losses was to a bronze leaguer, and several were to silver leaguers.

EDIT- one thing I will add, only one of those was ZvP- the rest were ALL ZvT, which is by far my weakest matchup. And, yes, the ZvP was one of my wins.

It happens, keep playing through it.

As a matter of fact, you may be at a point where you don't even realize you are learning something new, or thinking about the game differently, so you will lose many games and then suddenly start winning from incorporating the tiniest of new pieces of information.

Just keep playing and focus. Same thing has happened to me multiple times. There was one time I was re-learning/learning something new to me, and I dropped over 700 points.

Kept playing throught it and regained all the points + had more knowledge on builds/new strategy for the game and also had more experience with playing out other builds as i worked my way back up.

so don't worry about it and keep going!!

That's also a good sign. You need to be playing and losing your weakest match-up until you get good at it.

My TvT went from terribad to megagood just from getting TvTs over and over again. So same applies to you...turn it into a strong match-up instead of leaving it weak.

Don't give up hope Paul.

I usually get too pissed to watch my replays after such losing streak so I tend to play some random team games to blow of some steam. After that thoroughly analyze your replays and make a checklist of the things that went wrong. That's what usually gets me motivated again because you realize you could have won a lot more if you fix the points on your checklist.

Don't give up! Analyze your replays, pause, analyze every single situation and figure out what you did wrong and what you could have done better! Apply in next game!

i kept on trucking the whole season and ended up going 4-71
next season i hit D+

I know what you feel and it SUCKS, let me tell you at some point of a 3-14 game span I was so mad i punched my computer and almost broke it, I lost it for 2-3 weeks, then I started playing a bunch of custom and team game for some weeks and then watched Day9 like if it was Cocaine ^_^ (not that much but some what like it. Then tried a 1v1 and did quite well and won.

And now where ever I get in losing streaks I play Mario Kart, FIFA or maybe go outside to play Soccer.

So the point of this is don't give up, just take a small brake from the game when you're in streaks like that take a brake.

Just don't punch your computer ^_^

It's probably just the matchup. Play some more ZvT, then re-watch the replays and see if there's a mistake or something you can change that would have gotten you the win. If you can't pinpoint anything, it's perhaps time to start from scratch and work out a new playstyle/timings.

Working on your weakest matchup is a good idea, and just keep working on it. Sooner or later, you will become decent at ZvT. Watch replays, get advice, and work on a single solid playstyle before trying new stuff.
