Thanks. I dont' have much experience. I keep on using my senns for normal playing, and my logitech headset when I'm on teamspeak.

The V1 has the microphone on the cable, and the V2 has the retractable microphone? ?_? Mic qualities are different, so obviously it's an important part !___! I have a question though; I want to use the Siberia headset (unsure of V1 or V2 right now) with my new PMP i'm getting(The Cowon X7).. Should I use V1 or V2? I have no use for the mic, and i'll probably wear them for extended periods of time. I'd get the V2 if I was using it for my computer, but yeah. I'll also, most likely be taking it to a place close to where I work to get them decorated. http://www.hellokittyjunkie.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/425_japanese_decoden_inspiration.jpg http://www.hellokittyjunkie.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/425_japanese_decoden_inspiration_05.jpg Obviously, not with the Hello Kitty(or, most likely not ^_~) but with all the shinies and prettyness ! (I actually want to get a cheaper headset I can use at LANs that's decorated like this. Lmao)

LOVING the headset, its soooooo comfortable for long periods, and I normally can't stand long periods with any headset. Plus no sweating issue due to the open air design. Good times, $35 well spent it seems at this point (I only have had them less then a day in all fairness).

For a headset purpose I'd say go with the v2 because the mic quality is actually really nice. The only reason to go for a v1 is if you have a sick external mic. like the snowball microphones that are popular for casters, that said, if you have one of those nice external mics, then a headset for just sound reasons can be found for cheaper and better sound quality than the vanilla v1's
