End of the year is special in our school; many freshmen from college visit back and greet everyone. Recently, I've met 5 of my friends from MIT, 2 from CMU (probably more) etc. etc.
It's been a while since I've seen them actually; no one has the time to come back to Jersey for the holidays (except for this one). One person in particular has actually moved to Cambridge, but she still came down because her family still owned a house near the school.
I think last few days were the most exciting days of my Senior year: talking with the past math team coach about the current status and the future (good hour talk), guest lecture from MIT students ("but what if you love vomitting code?"), and yelling at MIT students for actually attending the school (since everyone in our school got deferred).
But it is also the season of pain.
COLLEGE APPS
My essay was near done, but my English teacher gave me a great suggestion, which involves: tearing apart the essay yet again. But whatever. I want it to stand out among other essays; I'll try to endure the pain.
And the pain of supplements.
Grades: Got my report card back, and if you have been reading my past blogs, my GPA was 3.519, with no 3.6+ in three years of high school. Senior year first trimester: 3.7+. I am finally relieved.
SAT Chemistry: I don't know what happened, but out of 3 times my highest was 680. I might take it one last time in Jan to settle some score >_<
P.S. CHRISTMAS! I don't ask for something big as years pass, but for the first time in my life I asked for something over $50 (no biggie for most people, but I don't request/receive gifts that are unnecessary). It's all magic supplies that I wanted for my new deck. It's all good.
P.S.S. Mini rant: GOD DAMN HOGIL. If you won over Calm the other day, I would've won a fucking Hite Entus sweatshirt that's not been released yet (My guess was WLWWLW).
