Hey guys, I've been testing out the possibility of adding music to my shoutcasts now and then. It would be great if you check this out and let me know if the music is a distraction, or if it adds to the overall cast. I have only done two casts like this so far, and wondering if I should do more.

I can't even hear any music. It's so quiet I would hardly consider it distracting. I was skipping through looking for you to be singcasting or something crazy, haha.

My general opinion is that if I wanted music while listening to a cast, I would play my own. I find it highly annoying when music I do not agree with is blasted and I have to mute the entire thing (see: Idra's stream).

Just my two cents.

I like the cast, and the music is alright, but I guess with my short attention span I can't really focus on both... So I find my self going "Oh I like this song..." and from there I just lose track of the cast.

Yeah I would agree that if I want music I will just play my own in the background, its painful listening metal while hearing some one cast a Starcraft match.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Other feedback I've gotten is perhaps to have music that has no lyrics? I'm a huge house/funk fan (no trance please!) and so perhaps that might be a little more pleasing to the ocular. But what I am hearing here is to leave the music alone.
