Now the difference between "good" instrumental music and this is the fact that good instrumental music just sounds sweet. What your stuff does better and what lifts it from good to great/awesome is the fact that you seem to convey emotions and tell stories with these tracks. The stories as well as the titles you've chosen for the tracks makes me wonder (and that's a good thing). In your "special thanks" the name Chloe Jennings stands out making me wonder who she is, if she's the one the tracks and album title is about and that gives the music a metaphysical level. Great work with this. It is some of the best debut work I've seen from a solo artist that's not studio recorded. | ||
