Making videos?

I'm planning to make some light-hearted goofy comedy videos and I need some funny ideas or themes. It doesn't have to be so good that I start getting thousands of views from youtube, just enough to be entertaining. An example of light-hearted goofy video would be something like Sunday Night Starcraft, except I want it to appeal to a broad range of people, not just SC fans. I just wanna share it with my circle of family & friends. I just want it slightly original, not something done over and over again. Was wondering if you guys could help me brainstorm :D

I think you're contradicting yourself when you say you want it to appeal to a broad range of people and just share it with your circle of family and friends. The first thing you really need to think about is what is your target audience? If you spend so much time trying to cater to everyone's taste you wind up making something so boring no one will bother with it.

With that in mind, if you just want to make something for family and friends, you might want to include references to humorous experiences some of you have shared. Making your audience feel included in whatever video you want to present is a good way to making something they'll remember.

How about a series about a baneling who just doesn't want to blow up. I think that would be hilarious.

We tried making something to show our entusiasm about starcraft.

We used a lot of hours getting the song right but if you are having fun it is time well spend. My advice start putting hours into it...
