I was more concentrated on watching the epic series all day long between some of the world's best players. =P I also got a bunch of interviews with all kinds of players, but unfortunately those won't be up until late Monday night or Tuesday. Here are some of the better pics that I got from Day 2.

I think you are confused. Ret is on the far right, and Tyler is left of HuK, so they definitely aren't standing beside each other.

Thanks for the pics! Liquid had a great showing. I hope there is a a VOD of some sort showing the mOnion high five attempt :D That had to be so funny and I can hear Day9's laugh now as he tries to explain what happened.

MLG rules say players aren't supposed to chat in games aside from game starting pleasantries and surrendering. I imagine that extends to directly addressing the casters too during a game. Although there definitely were moments were folks would give some o_o 's after a failed drop or the like so I don't really know how strict MLG adheres to the rule. It's most likely on a case by case basis.

SOOOOOOOO here's what happened.
It's day 2 and I'm in the losers bracket after being CRRRRRUSHED by Painuser (in my defense, I almost beat him game 2, check ze replay) and I'm playing one of the guy's from UT's CSL team who we've already had a showmatch with, so it's a guy I know and we're relatively comfy.
Blistering Sands, game goes on, blah blah blah, I'm on like 5 base and all he has is the gold. I'm getting ready for my final push when I see Day9 in my periph checking over my shoulder and watching the game from my opponent's side. Me and Sean are pretty tight and I hadn't seen him in like a over a year and most importantly I'm a fucking retard so I stop my attack to ask Day9 for a high5. I put my hand up in the air to signal my request, but Day wouldn't even respond or look at me. Discouraged and questioning my friendship, I look back at the game which is paused. My opponent thought I was trying to like flag down a referee or something. He asks if everything is alright, I'm like "ya ya everything's good, let's go back to play" and we resume and I win in the next 15 seconds.
I take off my headphones and Day comes over:
Me "Dayyyyy can I have a hug?"
Sean "mOnion!! (as he hugs me) I couldn't give you a high 5 cuz the referee said if I touched you or made eye contact that you would get disqualified"
me "HOLY SHIT well thank you for not high 5'ing me!"
Then we chatted a bit before I went on to 2:0
No refs came into play cuz the game was over and its Day9, but it was just fucking awkward for the 15 seconds it took me to win the game after Day9 refused to even look at me and I'm sitting there playing starcraft thinking "holy shit does Day9 hate me????"

I made it. I just used iron-on transfer paper that you can run through your printer at home. Took me a while to cut it out and get everything placed (all of the pieces were separate), but I was really happy with how it turned out. I knew I couldn't show up at MLG without ways to show my support for Tyler and Team Liquid!
And I'd like to throw a thanks out there to the Liquid guys for letting me hang out with them this weekend. I had a really great time and can't wait until I get to go to another tournament!

Am I the only one who thinks that this looks like it could be a poster for some sort of cartoon hero team?
Like Jinro is the big tough guy, Haypro is the wise one, Tyler and Ret are the 2 twins that always stick together, TLO is the comic relief, Nazgul is the team leader, and Huk is the protaginist who just discovered that he is a hero or something and gets all the main character powers!
someone needs to work on that, the more i think about it, the more it seems feasible.
