I'm like 1-6...really fucking frustrated.
I'm losing to shit I know how to beat. I'm losing to the most retarded cheese rushes I've ever seen, and I'm losing to being a complete retard and droning waaay past safe timing.
I was low level diamond for a couple months after the game came out, then got knocked down to plat after a pretty bad losing streak over a few days. Now I've stopped playing as often and I'm stuck there. My actual rank is probably somewhere in plat anyway, if my recent play is any indication -_-
What's tilting me more than anything is how bm these fag cheesers are. The vast majority of people who will play a relatively normal game against me are fairly nice...some "glhf" at the start and most "gg" at the end.
But the cheesing asshats? Every game is accompanied by a fair amount of trash talk. Some have even sent me tells after the game to further remind me of how bad I am - as if I really need them to tell me.
lol I hate how easy it is to find a new ladder game with the new bnet. I'm getting more and more frustrated but just can't stop hitting that "Find Match" button.

When I'm on a losing streak I play custom.
It relaxes me.

It's alrite man. I got kicked out of diamond too a few days ago after a losing streak. I am number one in plat now though. It feels good to be a big fish in a small pond :D. Anyway, I still get to play diamond players so not much has changed.
The number one tell that your opponent is a cheeser is that he plays random. I think those guys learn one cheese for each race and just rocking the ladder with it. Especially on small map.
|
Watching the replays when you loose is really good imo. Calms you down and you learn from your mistakes.

Everyone has their good and bad days in laddering. Just keep your chin up and focus on the next match!

Yeah I was like 1-5 earlier today but I just played more and I'm at like 8-6 now. Winning streaks feel so good after losing streaks.
|
Just play some random 3v3's for a change. You can still practice your mechanics and everything there.

I usualy do not loose against the same thing for quite a while atlest, makes up for a really steady play in the long run I think. Have not played that many games so :p

Then I guess you're one of the few stand up guys in your lot then. I am going to start my greetings toward any random from now on like this "fucking cheeser, prepare to be raped." I just got this one random idiot tried to 8 pool me on LT and failed pretty horribly. How that guy made it to plat is beyond me.

I don´t think I´ve ever been cheesed by a random, you always prepare for it when it´s random but it never comes.

1-6, sometimes I go 0-10. If you are losing too much just get up move around , play some other game or watch something for a bit and come back. Playing with frustration wont get you anywhere.
|
Just persist. Sounds like you just had bad luck : (
|
I know how you feel PH. Sometimes I feel so unrewarded by the way I play - generally I like risky eco builds - but seemingly when I have a massive hand up on my opponents - they come in with some crappy 1 base play and I get rolled.
Oh well. You have my axe brother.
|
You are good. Before my last game (that I won), I was on an 11 games lose streak.
If you dont believe me:
And what was the reason for such a ridiculous losing streak? Last week and the week before I had to write my Final Paper and prepare a ppt presentation for my course in the university, so I was under this unconfortable pressure. I should not be playing at all, but I kept going for 11 games.
Are you under some kind of pressure that is not related to SC? That might be the reason, just do what should be done before starting up SC games
cheers

I don`t know if that`s the problem you`re having but don`t ever play when you`re frustrated. If you lost and you`re angry take some time to do other stuff and cool off. If it will make you feel better my game crashed a few minutes ago while playing my 5th placement on US, now I`m in fucking gold.

Didn't play for almost 2 weeks cuz I was busy with work and all. Now that I had time yesterday I went on to play few games. I went T which I have never played seriously so I don't know the BO on ladder. It was on my smurf accoutn and I started at 33-16 and ended up at 33-29. Not demoted yet from Diamond.
Edit: Oh and I don't mind though even if it was on my main account. Losing isn't bad as long as you learn something from it. It's just the mindset people can't switch which makes it harder for you to improve. Even if it's cheese and you KNOW how to beat it. It just means you need to be more efficient in executing the counter or maybe it's a part of micro. Check into these things first before you go raging. I always tell myself when I lose that I should look onto the things I didn't do with the information that I had. Usually goes with timing or scouting on opponent.

I've gotten off work after 3am every day for the past 2 weeks. Even though by the time I get home, take a shower, and basically get ready to sleep it's almost 4am..I try to sneak in a game of SC2 because I'm actually too full of caffeine to sleep right away. I've lost every single game so far except one . (I think somewhere along the line of.. 14~15 games total).
What's weird is for some reason, losing helps me sleep. I get really pissed for a while.. then while I watch the replays I notice all the stupid things I did.. which calms me down. The one game I did win.. I ended up so pumped I played again.. and lost

lolol dude i haven't won a 1v1 in about 3 weeks. i've given up and just played team games, since my team got placed in bronze, and we just try ridiculous things like mass queens, double expand before pool, and the like.
