Hey again,
So I decided that I wanted to out-do my other sets and finally recorded a set that is almost 2 hours long, it's 1 hour and 54 minutes to be exact. Since I've never done a mix this long, I kept the mixing and transitions very simple and straightforward. I followed the format of starting off housey, getting a bit more progressive, a small electro house detour, followed by deeper progressive, then ending with high energy trance. Most of the tracks are new, however there are a few older tracks in here. Anyway, let me know what you think.

Also, do you guys want me to keep posting these mixes on blogs? A blog for each mix might be a little excessive and might get annoying after a while, but if you want me to inform you guys when I have made a new mix I will keep making these blogs. Feel free to just vote in this poll below here:

Shit. 5 stars. How do I get it into a mp3? Do I have to download a .ogg converter? Sounds good so far, but I haven't gotten that far in. Looking forward to more mixes though :3
If you could PM me about converting it from .ogg to .mp3 that'd be great! I'm scared I might lose this blog post.

I'll post so everybody can see. There are lots of online converters, try this one out.

The reason I upload in ogg is because the quality is slightly better than that of mp3. I'd upload in WAV if I could but the files are too huge.

Very nice man. I downloaded this new one and a few others as well. I for one would prefer a new blog for each new mix you make. Also, .ogg is fine for me because VLC pwns.

Nice, I'll listen to this next time I'm doing work. Sorry if I missed this in your earlier blogs, but what software do you use?

I've listened to the first half hour so far, and it's really good. I never knew progressive/trance could be so good to listen to while I work. Good stuff man!

That's the one thing that kept me focused at work for the past 2 years.

Just listened to it ... great set man. Haven't been on an electronic kick in a while, this might get me back to it though...

Love this mix. My favourite music, been following all your blogs. Cheers!

I dont listen to this type of music a lot but I'm really digging this, nice job.

Thanks for all of your comments. One of the main reasons I even make these things to get feedback and read your guys' comments (even if you don't like it, I'd like to know why, or if you had a comment about some part that you liked/could be improved etc.), so thanks again.
|
I've already listened to this three times and I'm just waiting to hear more of your work. Keep up the awesomeness and thanks!
|
This is really good, I'm enjoying it a lot! Do you have a dj name? A lot of the time I just get bored with trance because its the same 8/16 beat repeat and nothing... ever... changes... Anyways I'm going to put it on my ipod for hardcore library studying. I try to study to music always but words for my fave songs can get distracting so techno/trance is good.
|
I just need to make another post about this mix, it's so good, I listen to it at work all the time. The first 30 min is pretty meh, but the rest of the 1hr 30min is really great. Nice work man, looking forward to more mixes!
