He smoked progamers like Jangbi and Dove in straight up macro games while practicing like 1/4th as much as they did. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, western zergs. His play was just super solid and mechanical, kind of a Savior jr. He was also a super cool dude and was a regular poster on the strategy forum for a while. But alas, poker, WoW, and some chubby Korean lady stole him away from teamliquid. | ||

I'm not sure why you threw in all the stuff about him as a person, but none of it has any bearing on the topic at hand. There is no objective way to do a ranking like this, but as someone who has seen every good non-Korean zerg play since about 2001, I definitely wouldn't put him second or anywhere in the top 5. In my opinion, achievements must be factored in, and other than WCG UK I can't remember him winning anything worth mentioning. Aside from mondi, ret and sen, guys like testie (all his races rank in the top 10 among non-Koreans), blackman, tomson and f91 should be considered. Everyone can agree that midian was an extremely good player, but second greatest non-Korean zerg ever is a little much. | ||
