The charge will be billed to your credit card, not the address on it. The billing address is more for identification purposes, unless you pay off your card charges via mail-in check every month. The only way to match the billing and shipping address is to either a) change your information with your credit card company so that your card is attached to your shipping address, or b) get a new card with your shipping address.

but yes it will bill the address for the billing address and ship to the shipping address. regardless you should receive a receipt in your package so it shouldn't be any issue if you're keeping track of your ledger.

You will get a charge on your normal credit card bill, as well as a reciept that will be sent to the "Shipping Address". If you're charging the purchase to a credit card it won't be deducted from your chequing account.

You'll have to let the credit/debit people know you want the statement/bill sent to your new address if you don't want it mailed to your home. You can even go to your local post office and put in a change of address so you can start receiving your mail at your new college address if needed.

Correct if its a bank issued debit/credit card. It will show up on your monthly statement when mailed to you for that month.

Unless you have the bank or credit company your card is attached to regularly send your monthly expenses in paper to you, no, your billing address won't get any notification. Most banks are trying to switch to completely paperless banking, so I think at this point, you have to actually ask your bank specifically to send you monthly bills and statements through the mail. It all depends on how you have it set up, so look into it, but your billing address shouldn't receive anything by mail. The only thing I can think of is if it's your first purchase with the card, then maybe, or if the credit company for whatever reason thinks its an unusual expenditure and decides to alert you due to possible fraud. That shouldn't happen, though.

So perceptive! If you don't want a bill to arrive at your billing address can't you buy one of those pre-paid debit cards?

Well...if your parents' address is the card's address, as we mentioned before, they may still end up getting a monthly statement. If your card's company is a major one, just double check that your account paperless.
