Well, I just picked up this game. I'm gonna give it a shot tonight and report back on my first impressions later, but when I saw this I just had to post it. Just installed and took a long hard look at the desktop icon:

I can't run the game without giggling immaturely to myself...haha.

Anyway, just had to put that somewhere. I'll be back in a few hours to tell you what I think of the game. Anyone else tried it? Is it worth playing?

Oh, this is out?

It's a monumental testament to the declining quality of the series that I didn't even know nor care that Gothic 4 is out. I don't know a single Gothic fan who was excited about this game. The gameplay teaser they released was nothing but a graphics test. "Look at how pretty this rain looks", they said. "See how the water flows downhill?"

But whatever. Let me know how you like it, and if you've played any of the previous games.

Hehe I saw it.

I played gothic 3 for about an hour and then uninstalled it and went and played oblivion with new mods for an infinitely better experience.

Let me know if 4 is any good, I've been wanting a good RPG to tide me over until diablo/TESV

gothic died with gothic 2 ! But maybe it has atleast improved from the shitfest that 3 was, so I will wait for your impressions.

Not even worth downloading as far as i understand

gothic3 was a complete disaster.

Enjoy your physics engine, Gothic 4 developers. I'm glad you managed to get water to flow downhill. Call me when you've programmed in some fun.
