EPTNow, the random crashes are gone. The blue-screen crashes (they say something about there being something wrong with memory iirc) my computer has right now are very specific indeed: they occur every time I press the button "browse". So, for instance, adding a document to an e-mail is not possible for me, which is a big problem.
I have tried restoring the registry to like a week before the crashes, didn't help. I've ran virus scans and removed all the spyware I can find, but to no avail. Google didn't provide any answers either.
The obvious solution is reinstalling windows, but it was already installed on the computer when I bought it, so I don't have a disc for the reinstall. I can't check right now, but I think it should be on another partition which might allow me to reinstall without a disc.
Any other solutions?
