As the title says I'm at work and I'm an intern at this computer science company. I basically have to build websites using PHP/JS/CSS.
Sometimes when I don't know of a solution I do other stuff. Mostly browse TL site or school website and do some school documentary (reports etc.).
I wonder if many people are like me that they're sometimes bored and wonder if they should quit college and do something new.
I have my desk with computer right next to the exit in such way that everyone who is walking by will see me and see my entire screen.
Next to this office is another computer science company (we're in building with only IT companies). There are quite some hot girls that are also an intern there (they're not there as computer science interns but some economic education).
Anyways they often go take a break and go to the public restroom and thus walk by.
Since they can see me I'm like damn why am I sitting here.
Reason for this is because I'm currently building this adult website (some kind of dating site for sex or something) and thus there are adult pictures. They watch my screen and think like I'm some kind of perverted guy who watches porn at work.
Since I also wear headphones to listen music it looks more and more like I'm watching porn.
Since I find it funny I look at the girls and unbutton my shirt even though I'm making the situation even more look bad.
Does anyone else have these funny situations too and what did you do ?

heh... I get so much pleasure in farting in an elevator as I'm leaving and people are getting in... knowing they'll have to suffer for the next minute or so marinating in my ass fumes

lol I do not want to be in the same room as you guys if I ever meet you guys.
I have an awesome boss and since he knows what I'm doing I told him how I find it awkward when people are passing by.
So my boss took some designs printed out and put it on the desk spread out with all pictures and then went to the other IT company and asking for some professional advice.
He asked what pictures they like (all adult ones) and I was laughing my ass so hard.
I understood the point he was trying to make but it was funny as hell seeing your boss asking other people for advice on what the best angle is for making some images of girls for header and content with a serious face.

ROFL you have an awesome boss. I was going to say that you should just wink at the girls. If one of them gives you a good smile then you know you just found a girl to take to dinner.

Also going to agree with tofucake. Not sure I'm wanting to date a girl who would date a guy winking at her and building sex sites -- with all due respect to the OP and his awkward job position.

sorry for derailing the thread, but hotdamn farting is funny
one time i was walking through the hallway of my school when some kid farted and everybody around was laughing because it was really loud, i laughed so hard and got too enthousiastic and i farted too, really loud and i blamed the kid and everybody laughed at him again. i really felt like a douche but 10 minutes later when i saw that farting dude again he was bullying a freshman, my consciounce was clean (and i scared the crap out of him and the freshman was eternally thankful)

I'd feel the same. But I was just making some fun and they like it but there's nothing I can do about the sex sites. I'm a professional so I shouldn't feel awkward about it. Is it awkward? yes. Do I have another choice? Nope else I fail and then I get kicked out of school.
