Yep, today (it's yesterday for most of you, imo) was my birthday and fucking best birthday I ever had. Because for the first time in my life, someone else gave me a birthday party.
As I turned 19 today, the party was full of jokes like "Now drinking is legit for you" and "No more high school girls for Lobo" etc. So, you just lol to these jokes and enjoy your party (well, at a university, age of 19 is child).
Being birthday kid made me so much bm cocky. Today, in my capoeira training, my fellow capoeiristas celebrated my birthday, with the organization of my arguably best friend in there, and it was fucking awesome since it was my first and only birthday that someone else gave a party for me. I was and am the fucking happiest person in the universe, and that party made me even cockier.
So, I posted such a status on facebook:
"Dear my high school classmates. I don't have personal problems with you, but that capoeira mate is much more valuable for me than all of you combined. With all my respect, Lobo out."
This looks so fucking cocky if you are in the same classroom with me for 4 high fucking school years. But, in that 4 years, they neither celebrated my birthday, nor they were aware of it. This year, I was given a party by that person whereas most of my class all of my class except 2 people didn't even wrote me a birthday message on facebook. You can call me a douche for bashing my high school classmates like that, but I still think it's legit.
And one more thing, I still keep one of those candles from my cake :D lol I never thought that a birthday party for me would be such a thing :D

My high school classmates were pretty much the same, it was my friends from outside of school, for the most part (there was a group of awesome guys from my school that I hung out with, don't get me wrong) that I got along with.

Haha that sounds like what my 19th birthday is going to be in 1.5 months, I'm pretty stoked too. Sounds like you had a blast, happy belated birthday!

happy birthday man, but it does sound like u might of not had one of the best high school experiences ever. But it is common to be a regular joe in high school the come to college and more/better people appreciate u more becuz class has stepped up
