Nono, this is what you get for going to a fast food restaurant for a milkshake. >:[
Put your cravings on hold for a few hours and chalk up the extra green for a shake at a place where you see them put the ice cream in, and not just have mysterious white goop fall out of a big machine.
If you have a Coldstone Creamery near you, they make a good milkshake. You'll forget all about those crickets! :D

This is kind of like what happened to me.
I really wanted a chocolate milk, so i walk to the campus store (which closes in ten minutes from the time that I started walking) and when I got there 3 minutes later they had closed early.
I can only imagine that it was as frustrating for me as your milkshake search was.
edit: no, i don't have any chocolate milk. ;;

best fastfood chain milkshake i've ever had was from burgerville, but i think they only exist in the pacific northwest (WA/OR)
they have really good flavors:
chocolate
vanilla
strawberry
cherry chocolate
chocolate hazelnut
chocolate monkey (banana)
mocha
pumpkin
blackberry
boysenberry
black forest (chocolate, cherry, coffee)
all of their food is really good actually... yum

in n out has the best vanilla shakes, don't like the other flavors
jack in the box is good for oreo shakes, i personally haven't gone to a fast food place that has a chocolate or strawberry shake i like

I can't believe you actually went and got a second one.. Seriously, I would have raged, cleaned the carpet, and went straight to bed. Would be way too much frustration losing a vanilla shake at 1am..

Ask if they have vanilla malt, that flavor is the king of all flavors, i ask any place i go to if they have vanilla malt and if they dont i just go without a milkshake, nothing can make up the malty goodness

Reminds me a little bit of Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. The other night my mate and I wanted to go to the movies and watch whatever was on at the time but when we got there (45 min walk) there were no movies on and there wasnt enough time to catch a later movie. Should have checked the movie times before we left -.-
We ended up going to Mcdonald's instead and got some vanilla shakes. An unsuccessful night turned into a rather successful night.
