You feel like you reach a peak when you feel comfortable with your builds and think your playing them pretty well. I suggest you try to play different more micro intensive builds. You gave to play at a uncomfortable zone to improve. A good sign is when your playing so different and with more eapm that you start to feel stressed

Check out Mastery by George Leonard. It talks about plateaus like the one you're experiencing right now and how they are normal to the learning process, and life.

It's a short read. But everything will make more sense to you, hopefully, after reading it.

Just keep playing. everybody has theyre little ups and downs. but it'll go away =)

keep playing man, because so many people have felt this, and its only gonna hinder your your thought process if you think like that.
Besides, if you really feel like you hit a brick wall, try to review your own play and find subtle, or obvious faults in your play that you can improve on.

I hit a wall in broodwar a few years back when I was struggling to beat D+ on PGT. I just wasn't able to do it. No matter how much I increased my APM, or how many times I looked over my replays, I just couldn't get to the yellow ranks.

So I took a few days to a week off and not even touching my computer, let alone starcraft. So I came back with a refreshed mind and after a few games of getting re-acquanted with the game, I sky rocketed into the yellow ranks with ease.

So just take a break and get your head on straight. Instead of trying so hard to win, try to play your best.

you know, sometimes if you are struggling with moving forwards, taking a few days off from playing can put a new perspective on the game, at least thats how it was for me and BW.
