Here is a replay from a game i just played. I am protoss and I won the game because of my opponent's bad timing, but I am looking for someone to review my build and technique and see what I can do better. I am currently a gold level player.

I have a very serious suggestion for you: when requesting someone to help you and go over your replay, use a game that you lost... not one that you won... and ESPECIALLY not one that you won because your opponent screwed up a lot.

edit: I don't mean when you got paired with a top player and got destroyed... I mean a loss vs someone of similar ability where the game was at least close for a while.

The reason why is because we can better understand how to help you in close games where you are pushed to your limits of ability/strategy. If you are winning too easily you are probably just goofing around after a while and not keeping up with certain aspects of your play... if you are losing too hardcore you won't even be given an opportunity to demonstrate your strengths and weaknesses.

Losses are generally better because they show how you fail to deal with situations which is more important to improve than how you successfully deal with situations, I think.
