No clue where else I would ask this question, but does anyone know what his strategy is? It doesn't seem like he has a game over 5 min, but he is in diamond for every league.

He also seems to leave a vast majority of his games. Just curious. It seems like he's just going for a Tassadar icon.

What is his win loss ratio because if its really high then he is probably using a drop hack. Also what is his character code i want to check him out on sc2ranks.

He probably just proxy gates/cannon rushes or something along those lines in platinum and below and whenever he gets bumped up to diamond he starts losing games on purpose to get demoted.

edit: Oh wait, he has 700+ points. I had no idea 2gating or w/e would be effective at that level. Something strange going it seems as he is currently on a huge loss streak, probably looking to get rid of some of those points.

I looked at a lot of his games, and it looks like Puosu is right. He mostly proxy 2-gates on 8 or 9 supply (both gates... Didn't even think you could support that with that few probes mining), and sometimes cannon rushes. Right now he's mass leaving games to get his rating down.

proxy double gate at 8/8/8 or 9/9/9 then gets +1 probe, either if he does it at 8 or 9th apparently depends on the long path the workers need to take, then whenever he starts winning too much, he freeloses non stop untill he gets demoted again to play vs low diamond/platinum players.. not a strat to try to copy. he may have a carrier portrait but he didn't even get it legit -.-

So, I actually know him IRL, and yeah, he's just farming wins for the portraits. But it's gotten to the point where winning three games in a row gets him promoted to diamond. So he's having a bit of trouble continuing with his silliness.

Then the player worker rushing has a better strategy. Faster games and with the conditions he uses he automatically leaves enough to get bad opponents. T can lift their buildings -> long games, so just pre-emptively leave.

Wasn't looking for strategy advice, was just curious about what he was doing considering he was so high in diamond.

Guess just trying to get the portraits and winning a ton lol

Ok guys. Diamond is really no big deal. I've beaten at least 3 800+ pointers and my cheesewin% vs mid dia is like 70-80%. The reason why I throw games is because I can reach this point at any time, so why not win in bronze where theres less resistance.
