Well, as a professional executive manager, the actual company doesn't really matter to me, I'll go where I'm need or hired. But working at that level with a full expense account and benefits, I think I love and hate everything about it. I love the executive level expense account: I hate the fact I have no will power and eat steak every night unitl I gained 50 pounds over 3 years. I love traveling and staying in 5 and 6 star hotels: I hate when I have to visit 3 countries in 4 days or am living in the same hotel room for 3 weeks and haven't see my wife and son for a month. I love the power and influence I have in my industry: I love to crush those who hate me in the industry lol, sorry this part is just full of love I love my staff who I've trained and they own; I hate my staff who I've trained and don't report to me anymore and have wasted all my time and training on them to simply cruise under another crappy director line manager. I love the challenge and competition, but I hate the politics among the other divisions who I have to work within the company who try to cut my budget without telling me and lying that I approved it by not sending it back to me for reveiw before the end of the deadline. But I love the fact that they do it on me, one time. I like the fact that I'm at the top of food chain that I can directly get on a conference call with that little finance department fucker with the head of marketing and an owner and call him completely ignorant and out of his depth of experience and that if he keeps speaking that he is really pissing me off and that I'm I'd rather he just shut up for the rest of the call. ^^ I'm only nice to my fellow geeks. keke. Of course I like the cash, but, a guy like me though, is never satisfied with how much he is making unless its at least 8 figures a year. Not because I like to spend it, but its like my score card. I love the freedom my job and position gives, but I hate that I never had time to do anything else but my job. I love the fact that I've worked at some of the best companies with some of the best people, but I'm happy I quit 6 months ago to just go a very very long and more longer than expected vacation ^^ Cheers | ||

He got drunk in Shinjiku (in Tokyo) then starting talking shit, blah, blah, you think because you're Asian you know so much about marketing blah blah (he was drunk at the time), so I looked at him and just let him vent, then he started to point his figure at me and was about to poke me in the chest, then I looked at him right in his eyes and said to him, 'Jack*. Slow.. Down...' Then he sobered up a bit and realized what he was doing and walked quickly back inside the bar. One of our celebrity's bodyguards was standing by observing it, and you know what he said to me? 'Dave you a good man' lol It took all my will power not to take advantage of the situation and slightly escalate the situation so that I would be fully justified to knock him out, I mean how many opportunities do you get like this in your life? ^^ | ||
