i just use the biotherm face wash in the shower and jsut.. yea rub it around on my face and let the shower clean it off.

I've been using Shiseido UNO Ultra Black face wash and it has been serving me well. No pimples even in the heat of summer ^^ . Make sure to use it daily! I got lazy for a period and my pimples came back. You can order it online if you can't find it at a local store.

thats what i use.. it works really really well.. Makes ur face soft, gets rid of oil, and help fight against acne tbh..I had a horrible face but this helped alot and its cheap!
I have used quite a few, but the most effective treatment was using the facewash twice a day instead of once. However, HaruHaru's girlfriend has some good points. The beads and salicylic acid are very helpful. Just remember, twice a day, even if it's hard sometimes =\.
Those harsh scrubs can irritate your skin, and most soaps strip your skin of its natural oil, which actually stimulates it into producing more oil. The better solution is a simple, gentle cleansing bar like Purpose (available in most drug stores). Lather up your hands, gently spread over your face, and rinse very thoroughly. Any dermatologist will tell you the same.
(note that price is for 3 bottles of that, which will last forever)
cetaphil is also a generic now, so you can find cvs/drug store brands for a few bucks cheaper. best stuff available.
I can vouch for this product, it's pretty good as a face cleanser and removing dirt. It's also not harsh on the skin. When choosing products, avoid things with fragrances (and alcohol obviously).

This is also good advice.
I generally just wash my face with water theses days though and pat dry, when I wake up and before I go to bed. As well as after sports, etc. Random pimples can also be caused by things you eat as well.

A dermatologist onces told me that the food you eat doesn't affect your acne, but I don't if it is true or not.

I have had several dermatologists tell me that as well. But I find that my acne does improve if I change the way I eat. Maybe it's all in my head? =S
The St. Ives scrub that Illusion. recommended works really well for most people but you should only use it once every few days, not on a daily basis.

This, plus once the pimples are under control you can transition to a more gentle repairing face wash. (I am using this Garnier Nutritioniste stuff right now - after all the Oxy/Neutrogena/etc.)
The pimples and blemishes are gone, but the light scars are still there.
