I've tried to search for similar thread, couldn't find any. Everybody knows about BW probes saying "NOO" but it never occured to me they talk so much until my friend told me It's not as clear with BW probe so most of it's quotes are debatable but SC2 probe is pretty clear to me. What can you hear?

0:03 / 0:08 "What?"
0:15 sounds kind of like "you're nuts" but I don't think that is it...
0:18 "Can do"
0:27-28 "What?"
0:30-31 "What is your name?" o_o??

Someone should do this same thing for BW vs SC2 zerg units, like for example how in BW the hydralisk clearly goes "yeeeeeaaahhh?" on select and "rriiiiiiiiighht" on move and in SC2... oh wait in SC2 all the zerg sounds are some generic spacebug chirping that might as well be from a B sci-fi movie and have no memorable characteristics or personality in them.
How they could fuck up the throaty wheeze of the mutalisk so bad is just unfathomable. Reference.

Wow. I've played BW for over a decade and I've never once realised that probes make people sounds. It's always been a combination of machine noise/gibberish and meows to me.

Nor will anything be as badass as "you must contruct additional pylons". When I heard that in Sc1, it was time to make some additional fucking pylons. When I hear it in Sc2, its like "blah, go away asshole im doing something"
Even though I haven't touched brood war heavily in a bit, the many, many years I've been with the game constantly gives me a twitch that equates to "moving the worker to the mineral patch"
i've always thought that the probe sounds sound a lot like random references to war2. i remember there being a hero named cho'gall in war2, could be that. and a lot of the sounds are similar to orc peons kind of...
