Well, CSL Season 4 is close to official as it'll get, and now's the time everyone is making threads on the blog section to possibly find some new people to join the CSL teams.
CSL Registration begins August 25th, As of right now I know that Myself (Zlasher), and two people by the name of TheGeneral and TwinHits will be competing in CSL for GWU. So for the thousands of new members on Team Liquid, if you go to GWU, come and sign up for CSL, it'll be supremely fun and good times will be had by all. Plus we can meet up on Saturday nights and get korean bbq with a bunch of other people in the Maryland/Northern Virginia area, and talk starcraft.
If you go to GWU and want to sign up for CSL, you can do any of the following:
1) Email gwucsl@gmail.com 2) Message me in game (Zlasher.226) 3) PM me or TwinHits here on Team Liquid 4) Post on this thread and we will respond shortly. Gogo!

I was just staying at GWU over the summer as an extern in D.C. and , I met some undergrads in Mitchell Hall (who go to GWU), who were both playing the beta at the time. Not sure, if they heard of TL, you might consider putting up some posters or something around campus.

That'd be an interesting way of publicizing it, not too many places where people would actually stop by and read it since its in the middle of the city but yeah. I'm living in Mitchell next year so that'll be interesting haha. Hoping that the thousands of new members on TL since ~March will have read this if they go to GW.

If you were around like 2 years ago, I would have joined since I was at GW then. But seeing how I'm nowhere near GW nor will be there anytime soon..........
But I'm sure there's plenty of others who are from GW... maybe.. when I was around, no one was from here nor playing SC so..
Also, just curious, are you guys engineering majors at GW?? If so, I do recommend using Tompkins Hall second floor lecture room or fourth floor labs to meet up. It's a nice quiet place if you have access to it! :D

Yes it is.... it's AT LEAST over 50k per year (which includes dorm) plus expenses.... at least 90% of the students there are just from rich wealthy backgrounds which made me stand out pretty badly at times... god damn...

Sometimes I wonder if I can get a CSL team of some sort going. The problem is, I attend The Art Institutes, which is a brand of schools nationwide. Each individual school has nowhere near the population of a university- not to mention the stigma of being in for-profit schools. I'd suggest the possibility of having an Art Institutes of America CSL team, but that would be too many students, and very few who are likely local to one another.
So here I sit, reading about awesome CSL stuff happening right outside my doorstep here in DC Enjoy though, Zlasher! I'll cheer for you!

Like I mention in the other thread, instead of having school by school, why not have a regional teams or something like 2-3 schools combined if there's like 1-2 members in each school, and rotate the meeting in respective schools a week or two at a time or center point. For GW, there's also Georgetown, American Univ, etc. if there isn't enough people for a GW only team...

Lol, I'm an engineering major and I work on the 4th floor of Tompkins so to be honest, I could get the meeting room or one of the labs open after hours for a weekend if needed.

Yeah it is, but they also give the most need based financial aid so many of us aren't paying full tuition.
And yeah, I always wished they'd reopen the idea of mercenaries or just have regional teams instead of college related ones. Theres such a big following and group of SC2 nerds that meet up every Saturday but we all go to different schools so none of us can actually team up together, its a shame but we gotta go by their system. Oh well.
