Casting of my play, what did I do wrong?

Imma watch now and comment after with edit. edit: Okay, watched it. I'm no zerg player, but I am terran, so i don't know how much my advice is really worth. This map has a long as rush distance on ground, but a super short one by air, and in the case of maps like this, you should always beware of void ray and banshee rushes. A good way to ensure it is to keep your overlords between the two bases and have them scout out. Also, whenever a terran goes 111, he is very likely going to be forced to stay on one base for quite a while. Keep that in mind when you decide what to do next. Apart from that, i really don't know.

And such a failure with the slow overseer upgrade Really?! I'm x78 on Reddit and that's a mistype from when I owned the domain x89.ru (because it was short). Just sort of stuck with the name! I'm generally Napalm or some variation thereof elsewhere. x78, x89 and x90. I like it!

You then scouted his main and just saw marines, that should tell you something, that he is either going mech or he is going air. When he produces alot of marines, like he did, it tells you hes not using the minerals on hellions so he's defiantly going air. So firstly i would of bane-ling busted and ended it pretty near the start becuase he walled with a supply depo. But saying he didn't wall with a sd, i would go ling baneling and get some hydras out for support, becuase hydra den takes less time to build than mutas and hydras arn't hard countered by everything terran has, and then just slowly take over the whole map, and bust his main regardless of what he walls with once you've got a big enough force/enough banelings. Infestors are nice to add in to, and ultras end game never hurt anyone.

x89 United Kingdom276 Posts August 14 2010 08:59 GMT #5 That is true, it was a bit annoying that our teammate left, still that's a 3 way eco split right there, can't really complain. I do that too often, go for mutas when I should be going baneling / muta / roach. You saw my play with mutas though, trying to micro the supply lines but just rallying them into his base and having them NUKED. Thank's for the comment though, would've been nice if the FPS were a little better, should be so later today when I'm back on my good computer.
