Yes, yes, and YES. I did it. Actually it happened itself when i just needed to do a rehearsal presentation in my Academic Oral Skills course (plz no lousy jokes about the wording "Oral Skills", i've had enough). Back to the mouse, i think it's the VERY BEST mouse that 15$ can buy.

The mouse is Logitech LS1. It fits to my hand, design is cool, mouse is simple, good precision and it's SO easy.

Many of the customers who got the mouse are happy with that, but if you ever used a LS1 in SC, can you write your comments on LS1 please ?

By the way, the image:

It's the black one, but i consider the pink one as well:

I think (T)ToSsGirL uses something like this one :D

I saw an instructional guide on how to make those on /b/. It was a little disturbing to say the least xD.

Looks a lot like the Logitech Mini Optical, which I prefer over any gaming mouse I've ever used:

The pink one looks sweet. I'd go with the pink one because it's so original :D

Speaking of Logitech Mini Optical, anyone know where I can get a hold of one of those? Been searching like a maniac. (Sorry if I went too of topic.)

It's large enough for my 20cm long and 11cm wide right hand. But i couldn't find its tech features like true dpi-likes.

Where'd you find the LS1 for 15? I'm finding it around $25 US at most online stores.

edit: 25 with shipping.

Vatan Bilgisayar in Turkey offers it less than 30 TL, and the currency in dollars is less than 20$. Actually it's a little bit more expensive than 15$, but it's not even close to 25$ as well.

EDIT: With a certain credit card and 6 installments and Vatan card, the price goes down to 13$+taxes which make 24 TL in total and that is 15.87$

EDIT 2:

That mouse has 1000 True DPI with:

Ambidextrous design
5 buttons in total
Laser sensor (not optical)

I have one of these mice that I use with my netbook all the time. Works just fine. I never use it much for SC, but when I did it didn't feel much different than any other mouse that you could get for about the same price. I've found that the laser sensor works on most surfaces(handy for laptop/netbook). I have a similarly priced mouse on my desktop that I use for SC and the only real difference is that the LS1 is a bit smaller.

As a side note, if you drop it in water, it'll work fine once it dries out. It can hold a surprising amount of water inside.

Hope this helps some.

I bought one of these for 8€ or so at a special sale, I didn't like it very much compared to my G5 and Salmosa.

The buttons are hard to press and overall doesn't feel good while playing sc.

Just wondering, is that the mouse Nal_rA tried out and disliked in Oldboy? Also, is it USB or ps/2?

I'm pretty happy with my good old logitech g5, but there are a few annoying things and it isn't too accurate, so whenever this one dies...

Yes it is, but it's also the most used mouse by bw progamers, if not the only one.

The LS1 is NOT a nice mouse, it's feels as cheap as it looks but most importantly it has reverse acceleration that cannot be disabled via software, worst money I ever spent, this is coming from someone who loved the old Logitech mini.

Logitech has really let me down ever since I bought my second mini optical which felt distinctly lighter/cheaper, came with no mouse feet and had a really shoddy rough finish compared to the one I bought four years back(which still works fine btw). I had a keyboard die just out of a one year warranty and a MX518's left click die intermittently within 2 months of use and a foot fall off within 4.

Now I'm back using my eight year old Microsoft WMO which has traveled ten times the distance of all my other mice combined and works just as well as the day I bought it.

Yes. Nal_rA preferred to use a ball-mouse rather than to use LMO.

Wow, thanks dude. But what do you mean as reverse acceleration ?

He means negative acceleration which means that if you move your mouse too fasr, it'll actually slow itself down so you don't move as far as you should (whereas with normal acceleration, you'll move farther.)

I'm not sure if it's on that mouse or not, or how bad it is. It's a laser mouse so it probably does.

Also, I'm offended that you didn't notice my blowjob joke.

Does it have mouse correction? The mouse correction in the 518 makes it unusable by my standards.
